Beginner Fitness: I need help. I definitely need a gym buddy to keep me accountable. Unfortunately, being the socially awkward person that I am, I don’t have close friends nearby so I would need to join a gym then immediately find a gym partner. What’s the socially acceptable way to find a gym partner?

I've worked out here and there in the past so I'm not a complete novice but I definitely could use help with respect to form as its been a really long time since I worked out with weights. Thus, I need a gym partner that knows what they're doing. I'm also crossposting to r/socialskills.

20 minute Pilates & stretch session, great for improving flexibility.

    Shin splint trouble?

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 10:51 AM PDT

So I've noticed recently that I've been getting a bit of a podge, so I've tried to do couch to 5K. All goes fine for a couple of days, but then I get the worst shin splints, which make me stop.

I'm only looking to run 2 or 3 times a week, but is there anything I can do to help that?

    TIA :)
