When you think you're fat but everyone says no. Posted: 21 Jun 2020 01:05 AM PDT I've been having such a huge battle with myself regarding this issue. Currently I'm 5'6 and hover around 182-185lbs with a lot of muscle since I'm a fitness buff. Normally around summer ill try to get down to 175 since I feel like that's my good weight. I've done bodybuilding shows in which I've gotten down to 155-160lbs so in my head....thats skinny. People tell me I'm skinny right now, my boss even told me this. However I'm heavier than normal. I'll see pictures of myself and I'm like, I kinda look heavy lol but I still do have muscle. I seen one of my homies at the gym who is about 5'5 and he said he weighs 185 but he looks skinny as hell with muscle. Like he literally had no gut and was probably wearing a small or medium shirt. I dont think I'm fat but I also don't think I'm skinny or lean. Maybe its because I'm getting older and I just automatically think I'm fat. Anyone ever struggle with this? Lol. Kinda just seemed to start happening lately. [link] [comments] |
Benching stresses my lower back more than deadlifting Posted: 20 Jun 2020 11:39 PM PDT Why do I feel low back doms after benching (with a very slight arch) and not after deadlifting? With the conventional deadlift the day after I'm sored only in the lats, hamstring and glutes, isn't this excercise supposed to make my low back do most of the work? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT When I do crunches I find myself pulling up with my neck and engaging neck muscles a lot, is proper form pulling up with abs only? If so are there any tips on reducing neck engagement? [link] [comments] |
Skinny upper body with big lower body (thighs and butt). Posted: 21 Jun 2020 04:55 AM PDT I (20M) am skinny but I have big thighs and a big butt. I have a pear shaped body with narrow shoulders (small body frame). I'm also 5'11. My body looks very disproportionate. I can literally see my ribs but compared to my upper body, my thighs and butt are big. How do I correct this disproportionality? What kind of workout plan do I follow? [link] [comments] |
When working out when should I take a break? Posted: 21 Jun 2020 04:53 AM PDT In my new workout routine I wake up at 5AM and I run a mile then I do some light cardio with it, then when it's around 8:00 I do all three of these, but when should I take a break? Like every 2 days? [link] [comments] |
Substitute exercise for face pulls Posted: 21 Jun 2020 03:30 AM PDT I just started a PPL programme now that my gym reopened. However, there is no rope for the time being (supposedly because they can't be cleaned sufficiently) Is there any exercise I could do instead to get similar results? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 12:27 AM PDT Want to get back into working out. I feel weak and unmotivated. I need help with workout plan and exercises. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 12:15 AM PDT Im a 15 boy, i've workout since 13 but recently stop for awhile because of issues. Now obviously my muscle has broke down since i've stop and abandoned healthy lifestyle. But now im starting out again with db workouts. Since its been awhile i tried pushing to regain and did seated db concentration curl for75 rep 1 set, 5 kg and dropset to 3 kg for 25 rep for both arm. Now its been about 7-8 days and i still cant straighten my arms without hurting. I still want to workout on other parts like legs and chest but im afraid that will do more damage to my arms. What should i do? Edit: spelling [link] [comments] |
