Am I the only one who thinks Nick Walker is overrated?

    Posted: 14 Nov 2020 05:49 AM PST

People talk like he is the next great thing, but I just don't see it. I mean yeah, he looks great for his age, but he is just lacking in the genetic department imo.

-his lower lat insertions are awful (funny enough his back double isn't)

-his rib cage is disproportionate to everything else (except his blocky mid section), meaning he can't effectively hit a front lat spread

-he is super blocky, literally the blockiest guy I've ever seen. On a blockiness scale going from Wesley Vissers to William Bonac he'd be a pixelated version of Big Lenny.

-at 25 you can already see a gut coming, and a big one at that

-his physique overall is just super unpleasant to look at and the varicose veins on his shins just add to that unpleasant look

I don't want to dogg the kid too much, because he actually always comes dialed in and I appreciate that quality, but he definitely won't be the next great thing.

    Struggling with body dismorphia

    Posted: 14 Nov 2020 02:56 AM PST

Does anyone else feel that no matter how hard they train, how perfect their diet is and how much effort they put into bodybuilding they still hate how they look? I get comments from my friends saying "they wish they were as big as me" but I don't see myself that way at all. I feel like no matter how much I progress I will never be where I want to be. I hate looking in mirrors and I try to wear hoodies at the gym as much as possible because I don't want to see myself. Anyone get this?

    Steroid Saturday

    Posted: 14 Nov 2020 01:00 AM PST

Welcome to the steroid Saturday discussion. Please follow the rules, and be kind. If you see any hatred, arguing, etc. Please report the comment so it can be removed. If you do not agree with this post, do not participate. It is that simple.

    RULES:

    • NO SOURCE TALK. This is very important for a variety of what we hope are obvious reasons.
    • NO FIGHTING. Arguing and ridiculing others will only get your comment deleted. Constructive criticism only. Post anything that is on topic. This involves how cycles change close to competition prep, what has worked for you in the past, before/after cycle pictures, dietary changes with different compounds, etc.
    • Questions are allowed, but should be limited. /r/steroids has a specific thread just for new comers, where you can get amazing answers from some of the most knowledgeable people. Lab talk is alright, but remember how to get a particular lab's product would be prohibited source talk.
    • We hope everybody enjoys this thread Thanks to the /r/steroids community to help make this work. They have been a huge help and will be chiming in on this post.
