    Not a morning person.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 06:16 PM PST

Hi, I've been trying to get into exercise for a long time, but I still feel like a beginner. I'm 35/f and have a hard time finding a moment when I'm not too exhausted to workout. I usually try after work, but I'm so tired and sore it winds up feeling pretty half-assed if I even make it that far. I'm curious about working out in the morning. I'm NOT a morning person. I generally feel like a garbage fire before I drink some coffee. I need some advice from a morning exerciser. Do you have coffee and food before or after? I'm afraid that if I have neither, I couldn't function. On the other hand, I might puke with my belly full. There just doesn't seem to be an appropriate time. How do you do it? P.s. Coffee is non negotiable.

    Squat and Deadlift Form Check

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 06:05 PM PST

Hi! Im sorta new to lifting weights (at least consistently) and have made more progress than i ever had. I got my squat (the thing im most focused on) from 185x5 to 265x3 and my deadlift (which unfortunately i can only do once a week due to putting the emphasis on squatting) from 235x1 to 280x3.

My concern is whether or not im getting a case of form creep and im too biased to see it. Especially on the deadlift where I find myself having a rounded back. I know that you can get away with a bit of it, but I'm concerned on whether or not this is too much rounding.

    Thank you in advance!
