Is too much whey protein bad for your kidneys?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 09:53 PM PST

I've recently begun aiming to take in about 145 g of protein per day based on Jeff Nippard's recommendations of 1.2 g of protein per lean body mass. I'm 5'8'' and weight 150 lbs. I'm vegetarian however so it's difficult to take in that amount of protein without using protein shakes. The problem is that I've been having to use 3-4 scoops of whey protein daily to meet my requirements. Is that much whey bad for your kidneys? I don't have any pre-existing health conditions thankfully but I don't want to permanently damage my kidneys from using that many scoops daily.

Any exercises I can do at home to mend a little back/neck bump?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 07:51 PM PST

Hey everyone, I am 24 and I have been slouching for the past few years.. I am tall for a female (almost 5'9") but the slouching has given me a little bump, and also shortened me by a half inch or so. It's not so terrible/noticeable like it is on other people, but I want to get rid of it and have a straight neck/back. Before it gets worse down the road, you know? I try to stand and sit up straight when I can, with my chest out and shoulders back, however the bump is still there. And it gets very sore sometimes when I stand/sit straight for too long.

What can I do to fix it? I can go to a gym if I need to use weights, like to maybe strengthen my back or shoulders? (I would just prefer to do it at home)

    Is this a decent diet?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 04:37 PM PST

So I bought some dumbbells, a kettlebell and cut all added sugars from my diet and I'm losing about a pound per week. I wanna restrict caloric intake to 1500 Calories a day and see where that goes, but meal planning and all that is beyond me. I did find this but I want to make sure that this would be otherwise nutritionally complete before I dive head first into this.

Just a quick question about what that is, as, for some reason, Google does not wish to cooperate with me on this subject.

I am starting my weight loss journey and need advice.

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 10:35 AM PST

    I am 21(F)

i have height 5'2 and weight around 58,I am overweight and want to lose weight and i do not know what exercise shall i do,I have a problem of back pain since last 3 years.

I have started dieting and i have limited my calories and carbs intake.

I take at around 800 calories or less per day and not more than 200 gram of carbs.

It gets so tough for me to not eat because i wake up till 2 am in the morning and have bad routine,i take my last meal by 7:30 and again get hungry.

Also,i have trouble sleeping ,i can not sleep at night because of which i cant wake up early and basically ruin my day .Any tips on sleeping which can help me to sleep early.

I walk a lot but do no exercise.(walk for around one and half hour)

Can anyone suggest me some exercise to strengthen my back so that i do not harm the lower backbone when i start with rigorous workout, even if i walk for one hour,my lower back(the tail bone i think) start paining.I am too lazy to go to the gym ,may be a little scared to join the gym.

I do not want to do any wrong exercise and get hurt

    A little history :

(one day my lower back suddenly started paining and i was admitted to the hospital ,some said my muscle got pulled ,doctors said my nerve got supressed because of a little elongation of the bone, i don't remember the exact bone,i also suffered breathing problem which doctors stated are because of anxiety,Some doctors suggested counselling, the doctors said all the points where i have back pain has begun are the origin place of stress,I haven't got over the anxiety issue but my objective right now is to get fit)

Any advice would be welcome about the food eating habits and the exercise.
