Chris Aceto posts a tribute to his client and friend who passed away, Senthil Kumaran Selvarajan. Senthil was an incredibly talented Indian bodybuilder who won Mr. India and had hopes to one day compete on the Olympia stage. RIP

NPC PA Muscle overall Figure winner! I still can't believe it...

Literally had no idea I looked like this until I saw these stage shots. I knew u/brazenmaiden and I dropped a lot of water off of me from April 29-May 8, but I wasn't aware it made this big of a difference. Stage weight was 134ish, down from 139ish the week prior. I'm 36, 5'6.75".

I've never made any posts about myself in this sub and I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to talk about. But my diet/prep coach is our girl Sara u/brazenmaiden. My posing coach is Cyd Gillon.

Overall the show was great! Anyone debating competing out east next spring, do this show. Venue was huge and beautiful! Lights were great. But there was a shortage of chairs... There were a few other events happening at the same convention center and there was still plenty of room for everyone. Downtown Lancaster is really pretty with tons of history.

    Monthly Mandatories

    Posted: 12 May 2021 06:57 AM PDT

Hello and welcome to our new posing thread. These will be posted once a month and will give the community a chance to get critiqued on their bodybuilding poses. You may post any pose (or all of them) that youd like help with!

Please keep in mind this is not Mirin Mondays. We are critiquing the pose, not the poser. On that note, please remember that bodybuilding (except MP) requires both your upper and lower body to be shown. Half a pose is useless, this thread is for practicing stage posing, not for instagram pics.

Check out the previous threads if you need a reminder on how to perform them!

Are there any decisions in Bodybuilding that were considered particularly controversial?

    Posted: 11 May 2021 09:57 AM PDT

As someone whose investment in the sport is limited to "I know who Arnold is and watched Generation Iron once" I don't have a lot of knowledge about it, but it stood out to me that who wins tournaments is decided by judges, and in sports that I follow more closely (Boxing, MMA) which are decided by judges, there's a long list of decisions (even ones with pretty far-reaching consequences) that the majority of the community disagreed with. I've heard that this problem is particularly egregious in Olympic Boxing.

So within Bodybuilding history, what decisions were considered controversial?

Sadik is saying he's 2 months into prep. Anyone have an idea of what show/division he's competing in? Or is this just gonna be some BS hype to sell another coaching program?

Guy looks crazy good but is he really only 225?

I'm the same height and weight with a higher body fat, slightly visible abs but god damn dose he look so much more huge than me.

To me he looks 240-250 range. What do you guys think?
