Finding the right balance with running. Posted: 19 Dec 2020 11:17 AM PST I'm a new runner, It's been 4 or 5 years since I've run consistently, other than being on and off for the last few months. When I started again tho, I could barely run 5 minutes before I got really intense cramps and nausea. I've gotten better, to the point where I can pull a 15 min run before I pause, but I have to be very careful about my pacing. I want to get faster tho, but I don't know how I should approach pushing myself. Right now I do 30 minutes of running a day, with intervals of walking when I need it. Should I focus on the length of my endurance, or try to go faster for shorter? [link] [comments] |
