Is 30 mins through 1 hour stretches before working out overdoing it

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 12:00 AM PDT

My friend and I had an argument about stretching before working out. He said that I should be doing 30 mins to 1 hr stretches before working out. Personally, I told him I think that's a little too much. What you guys think?

    Switching from fuckerarounditis to 5/3/1

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 02:38 AM PDT

Anyone here has experience with starting 5/3/1 and seen some great results with it? I started weightlifting 2y ago with 5x5. The highest I've ever got on for example bench press was 70kg 1x5. I'm 188cm and 82kg at the moment. After reading a lot I realised I got way more potential then that. Everyone always says you have to atleast be able to bench your bodyweight easily etc. And I've never came close to that. Ive bench pressed for almost 2 years now and was always stuck between 50 and 70kg's...

For example last 2 months I used a fuckarounditis program where I did switched between day A and day B, day A being: Bench press 5x5, dips 3x8, pull ups 5x5, rows 3x8, legwork (injury program), bicep 3x8, tricep 3x8

    Day B: Dips 5x5, press 3x8, rows 5x5, dips 3x8, legwork, bicep 3x8, tricep 3x8.. Trained 3 days a week.

Now im gonna strictly follow 5/3/1, is it realistic that I will now be able to make way better progress in strength?

Exercises to slim down my back

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 01:55 AM PDT

I just got a massive back tattoo and on the photo the tattoo artist took, I realised how massive my back is. Geneticts play a big part in it and I always had a muscular back (going swimming and all that) and after losing 25kg I still have the same under bra measurements. I like my physic but I'm still wondering if there are any exercises that can slim it down a little bit?

Edit: let me rephrase my question: any suggestion on exercises that focus less on the latissimus and more on other back muscles?

    Low water percentage in body?

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 02:31 AM PDT

I hear body water percentage is supposed to be around the 60% mark, but when I checked my body water percentage, it's just under 50%. I feel fine, and if I try to drink a lot of water, it just all goes out.

I am currently overweight, but I'm not sure if fat percentage affects body water in a significant way.

Would love to know about this. Thanks.

    Really need advice and help.

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 12:52 AM PDT

So I've been consistently doing toning workouts for a month now. I have also cleaned up my diet a little. I've been doing the same workouts everyday for the most part. Sometimes I add some more. I also go on 30 min walks almost every night now. I was concerned about how much I was eating because I knew it wasn't enough so I defiantly am working on that because I have a problem with bloating. I really want to continue to make this life style change but I want to do this right and be healthy about it. One question I have is can I workout 5 days a week, each day targeting specific areas of the body and still see results? Or do I have to do them all every day to see results? I wanted to start getting into doing a more intense workout for each area so I think time wise it would be helpful for me to focus one area longer one day a week. I'm a noob to this still so I'm trying to learn how to properly make this change. Its been a month so I feel the habit and drive is there now. I just need to clean it up. Please. Any advice or knowledge is appreciated.

    Don't understand this one thing

    Posted: 27 Sep 2020 12:09 AM PDT

Is it normal or possible that someone loses 6 kilos of weight in a month? Because I have, and it's insane, I'm not starving myself, I'm exercising 4 times a week for 2 hours during each session, but slowly, I'm doing it.

I'm growing too big for my pants really quickly, I love it, but I'm surprised, is that normal? Rapid weight loss, because when I travel abroad I was a 110 kilos and that was from the 26th of August 2019 and now it's today and I'm 86.4 kilos, yesterday 86.2 but that's because I overate above my calorie intake for weight loss.

Is that normal? Can someone explain?

Thank you and have a nice day.
