Do you guys know why even the biggest bodybuilding shows look and feel so unprofessional? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 07:49 PM PST Hey guys, Just went through that Arnold livestream torture. There's just one thing that keeps popping up in my mind: why does it feel like the show is run by some small 90s event agency? Same thing for the Olympia, everything about the production screams "mediocre" and low budget. The visuals look like they put the coffee machine intern who happens to know how to make shitty photoshop memes to the task. The stream (which organisers were 10 years too late to setup), has far worse quality than the average youtube channel and is usually only accessible through obscure websites (... so I guess youtube for this year is an improvement?). Or they're not, maybe they're super accessible, but how the fuck would I know with the shitty organisation/communication around the event. Talking about the organisation it's also (big surprise) super sub optimal, with random blanks, people coming on stage not really knowing what they're supposed to do etc. The lighting. Don't get me started on the lighting. You would think being able to see the fucking competitors would be a priority for a bodybuilding competitions but seems like it's not. People say Terrence Ruffin competed but I have no fucking idea I wouldn't be able to see him if he ever was on stage. And my god the camera work, it literally feels like the dude filming the local McDonald's birthday parties got the job. Just what the actual fuck. I know bbing isn't the most mainstream thing ever but come on I've seen youtuber cons with better production value, by a mile. It feels so weird when huge personalities like Arnold are backing these events. So does anyone have some juicy insider knowledge or something about this? Will the Rock save us all? I'm extremely skinny, I'd like to overcome this. Posted: 08 Mar 2020 09:19 AM PDT I'm 17 years old, I weigh around 50kg. I look like a stick man, it gives me anxiety whenever I leave my house. I eat around 2 meals a day, not sure if that's enough. Is there a good routine I can stick to in order to gain weight and muscle and simply stop looking like a stick man? [link] [comments] | ||
