What if I can't do the "basic" level of mobility drills?

This is a question I hear all of the time, and even a question I once asked myself. If you go on Youtube and type in "beginner mobility" half of the videos are teaching the splits and pancakes and things that I would NOT consider beginner. What if you're so tight that you can't do those drills, or when you try you can't do them without pain? And, why do trainers feel the need to speak all sciencey: "You're medial-tubular-ligamus needs to protract submaximally..." What does that even mean???

This is why I am working on a video series for RIDICULOUSLY tight and stiff people, with basic explanations and instructions that anyone can understand. I know what it feels like to be super stiff, so I outline simple drills you can do anywhere, anytime, that will help you on your way to better mobility. You can check out the series on my channel https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMXeRPsJbwBJLB4bqetk9-avRAkhxUa3q

If you have questions or comments, feel free to leave them here or on the videos themselves. If you'd like me to do a video for a specific movement you're struggling with or a joint that is giving you problems, let me know as well!
