Super skinny guy, trying to build muscle/gain weight at home. Advice appreciated!

So I don't even like saying this, but I'm a 32 year old guy, 5'4", and I weigh 100lbs. I've never weighed more than maybe 103-105. Despite being very small and skinny, I'm in pretty good physical health, I can bike for many miles, like to stay pretty active all day, and I like doing physical labor type stuff. I guess what I'm saying is I'm not the lazy, sit around all day type. I've been trying and struggling since I was a young teenager to gain weight, and it's been a lifelong struggle. My main problem is eating enough, depression and mental health issues play a big role in my relationship with food and having a low appetite, but that's another issue that I'm working on.

The main thing I'm working on is my skinny legs. I've recently started doing lunges and squats at home, but it never feels like it's enough. I don't have access to a gym or any weight equipment right now, as I'm sure most people don't right now, so the best I can think of is a weighted backpack. So I've started doing about 3 sets of 10 reps of lunges, and 3 sets of 10 squats, with a weighted backpack on. Do you think this is an efficient method for building leg muscle? In terms of upper body, I do 3 sets of 10-15 pushups with a weighted backpack, 3 sets of 10-15 sit-ups, and 3 sets of 10-12 dumbbell curls for my biceps. I try to do upper body 2-3 days a week and legs 2-3 days a week.

Do you guys think this is a good routine? Any other tips or things I should be incorporating? Thanks so much for any input.

I'm having pain in my plantar fascia every time I jump rope, why?

After jumping rope for a time I always get pain in the bottom of my feet.

Every time I hit the ground, only the front halve of my foot makes contact with the ground, could this be the reason?

I try strengthening my shins/calves by stretching and balancing on 1 foot, does this help?

my go-to home fitness recommendation during Covid-19

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 06:15 PM PDT

Hey guys, I know with Covid-19 it's become harder and harder to get a good workout in. Gyms are closed and working out in public spaces is risky. I found this cool product on Facebook that gives major gym functionality at your home. Basically, It's a ab roller ,but instead of only training abs it trains other muscles as well. I used to be doing bicep curls with rice bags ,but this product is similar to a dumbbell so the weight distribution is more even. I'm not associated with this product, I just wanted to share a cool product that could benefit our fitness goals during this time of need.

Here's a few exercises you can do on this thing: https://imgur.com/a/GHB4OQK
