- What the hell is that upper back
- Should he switch to mens open ? IMO no
- I've seen a lot of incredible pics of Ronnie over the years. His back poses are by far his best, but this shot right here is downright ridiculous. Thickest side chest I've ever seen. According to Ronnie, this shot is from a guest posing 8 weeks out from the 99 Olympia. What do you guys think?

- Difficulty putting muscle on, test level tested 2 years ago and within last month. Options other than trt?

Mandatory Pose Wednesday - Abdominal and Thigh Posted: 03 Feb 2021 06:53 AM PST Welcome back everyone to Mandatory Pose Wednesday! We have a new rule so please make sure to read them! The main rule for these weekly threads will be that if you are not a verified competitor, you are not to give advice or coaching to those seeking help. How does one become a verified competitor? Send a modmail with your stage shots and we will work with you to get you verified. Verified competitors will have their flair adjusted for easy identification. Most will get "Verified Competitor ✅" and those who already have custom flair will get ✅ added to it. We will try to verify some of you ahead of time based on the more active known competitors in the sub but this is a call to service for those members in the sub to give trustworthy advice in these threads. Those who are not verified competitors will be warned once in these threads if they are giving advice or coaching followed by a ban from those threads. Feel free to continue to give advice in the daily discussion but these threads will be for coaching from verified competitors only. We're hitting Abs and Thigh today. 1) As always, start from the ground up. Start with your feet slightly spread apart, and one foot forward. Angle your back foot outwards at 45° to ensure that quad sweep can be activated. The front foot should be at about 15°. The major differences between this pose and the other front poses are that the legs are not spread as far apart, and that one leg is forward. A different option would be to go on your heel of the front foot and spike your toes, it totally depends what you want to show, your calves or your tibialis anterior. Flex your legs HARD. 2) Next put both hands over your head, you can actually grab your head. Or put your hands by your ears like your going to do a sit-up. Either way, you want your elbows out towards the sides to create that dramatic "V" shape. 3) Crunch down and blow out all of your air. At the very end, make a little "cough" to get the last bit of air out and watch your abs rip up. To hold this pose with no air in your lungs takes a lot of practice and conditioning. Some people have mastered very shallow breathing techniques that do not compromise the pose very much, but another alternative is to change poses. This allows you both the opportunity to take a good breath, and you can also showcase different angles of your physique and your ability to "fight for it" on stage which if done tastefully can account for additional stage presence points. Examples: Hadi Choopan 2020 Olympia Variation Chris Bumstead Vacuum 2020 Classic Physique Olympia Logan Franklin 2020 Classic Physique Olympia What were here for: Critique the pose, not the poser. Everybody is welcome to participate, this aint mirin mondays so dont worry about the status of your bulk or cut. We are here to improve. Every pose can be hit in more than one fashion. Individual criticisms tailored to the posters physique are absolutely welcome! [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 02 Feb 2021 01:47 PM PST I wanna preface this with I've worked a physical job as a mover for the last 10 years on and off. Until this last year my gym sessions were very sporadic and few and far apart from just working a demanding job. A couple years ago when I was 30, I'd been having low libido and difficulty maintaining erection for awhile. Went in to my local physician and they did a testosterone test, came out to 190 ng/dL. He said it was a bit low but didn't wanna do anything at the time and to come back if keep experiencing issues. I hate going in for appointments so just never bothered again until this last month. I'm 32 now, it's gone up slightly, but still seems lower end, 283 ng/dL. This last year I've been trying to be as consistent as I can with going into the gym and very determined to build up a better physique, progress has seem to been lacking a bit which led me to go back in for an appointment. Is TRT realistically the only thing that's going to help with what my levels have been at? I know not to expect a huge change in a year, but at the back of my mind since 2 years ago I've always been wondering how my low test level has been holding me back if any and playing on my mind.
