Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 12:38 AM PST

Get your dunce hats out, Fittit, it's time for your weekly Stupid Questions Thread.

Post your question - stupid or otherwise - here to get an answer. Anyone can post a question and the community as a whole is invited and encouraged to provide an answer. Many questions get submitted late each week that don't get a lot of action, so if your question didn't get answered before, feel free to post it again.

As always, be sure to read the FAQ first.

Also, there's a handy-dandy search bar to your right, and if you didn't know, you can also use Google to search fittit by using the limiter "site:reddit.com/r/fitness".

Be sure to check back often as questions get posted throughout the day. Lastly, it may be a good idea to sort comments by "new" to be sure the newer questions get some love as well. Click here to sort by new in this thread only.

So, what's rattling around in your brain this week, Fittit?

As per this thread, the community has asked that we keep jokes, trolling, and memes outside of the Moronic Monday thread. Please use the downvote / report button when necessary.

Can you help critique my cutting plan?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2020 10:40 PM PST

Here's my plan. Start at 2000 calories (250 deficit) and drop 150 every three weeks until I'm at 1550 calories.

I will also be eating around 140-160 grams of protein and lift weighs every day. I'm not allowing any cheat meals/days.

This plan will take 9 weeks. I'm currently 15 percent body fat and I want to get to 10.

I can change any of these variables as I'm a high school student with too much free time. Is this plan enough to get me to ten percent body fat? Any other suggestions? This is my first cut so any advice is appreciated. I'm 5'11 160 pounds male btw.

I'm thinking about getting something like this to use under my desk while working. I was wondering whether anyone uses one of these and whether they are pleased with it. Thank you in advance for responding.

    Post Workout Fatigue?

    Posted: 07 Dec 2020 12:59 AM PST

    Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some advice from you guys.

I work out about twice a week with a trainer, and I worked out last night. It was definitely more challenging than my previous workouts, and I felt more tired during my workout.

This morning I woke up with sore muscles and I felt extremely tired, exhausted. I felt like I had no energy, and I ended up staying home and not going into work. I am not a person who naps during the day, and today I took a two hour nap during my lunch break. I thought I was sick, coming down with a cold, but now I'm just wondering if it's possible it's from working out?

If you guys have any insight or experience in this area, please let me know. Thanks!
