Question: why are workouts set out in sets/reps? Posted: 15 Sep 2020 03:47 PM PDT Probably a dumb question, but why are workouts set out in sets and reps? E.g.: Hip thrusts - 4 sets of 8 reps Bicep curls - 3 sets of 12 reps Is this to have a break in-between each set, and maybe change the weights (if applicable)? Also how do you determine how many sets and reps to do of each exercise. I have never really understood, any help is greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |
