Still getting insane DOMS after lifting for 9 years

    Posted: 14 Aug 2020 09:20 AM PDT

I still do a bro split and hit every muscle group once per week - but I don't just hit them I destroy them.

Every set is a drop set until failure, and I generally do far more isolation lifts than friends who do push/ pull routines that mainly consist of compound lifts twice per week.

I've seen pretty great results with this though, and never really saw a reason to swap to push pull.

Until recently I realised that I'm still getting crazy DOMS for 2-3 days after training any given body part, so I'm always really sore, and apparently that's highly unusual for somebody who's been lifting for as long as me.

I can put up with them, but life without legs and abs DOMS in particular would be...more comfortable.

Do you guys think my split program OR training to failure is the main culprit for my continuous DOMS?

Why didn't Dorian ever do an Arnold?

    Posted: 14 Aug 2020 09:01 AM PDT

Its not like he only did the Olympia as he did do a few Grand Prix. Also, why would he skip out on a decent payday? The Arnold is not that long after the Olympia.
