Beginner Fitness: Long time lurker. Been doing body weight exercises for a couple of months now and I know I should be doing warm ups but a lot of standard warm up exercises are the level I am at for strengthening various body parts. Got any warm exercise routines for actual newbs?

I'm male, 35, 5 ft 7 inches, but fairly overweight at around 190 pounds to give you an idea of where I'm starting from. An extremely overweight weakling that is trying to turn his life around. Looked back in the previous posts from the past 60 days I didn't see anything regarding this topic. Any advice is appreciated!

Working your core years after abdominal surgeries that sliced through muscles?

    Posted: 30 May 2020 12:51 PM PDT

Hi there, so in early 2017 I had several surgeries which cut through my abdominal wall. It didn't heal well, left to very deep non-healing wounds but when it finally did scar tissue adhered to muscle, so I have avoided any movement or activity or exercise that involves my core. How can I start building it up at home without gym equipment? Crunches are laughable, I can't do them at all, nothing happens as there are no longer muscles in my center at all. But I feel ready to finally work on this area. I would appreciate any help or advice. Thank you.
