Working your core years after abdominal surgeries that sliced through muscles? Posted: 30 May 2020 12:51 PM PDT Hi there, so in early 2017 I had several surgeries which cut through my abdominal wall. It didn't heal well, left to very deep non-healing wounds but when it finally did scar tissue adhered to muscle, so I have avoided any movement or activity or exercise that involves my core. How can I start building it up at home without gym equipment? Crunches are laughable, I can't do them at all, nothing happens as there are no longer muscles in my center at all. But I feel ready to finally work on this area. I would appreciate any help or advice. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
