Ive always been on the skinnier side But recently ive noticed i have a lot of belly fat. i also have very weak muscles all around. Im a boy going trough puberty so i thought that it was normal, but when i seseched it up i only saw articles for girls,i have issues with depression and anxiety and its only been worsened by this, i saw online that i have to build muscle and eat healthier, but im kinda indimitaded by all this fitness stuff, some say you should do an exercise while Others say you should'nt. Im planning on doing a more simple routine, upper body day and lower body day and abs on both

What exercises should i do to make sure i target et all of my muscles . How much protein and calories do i need. What foods should and should'nt i eat

    Im 181cm tall

Intro To Movement Series Pt 1 & 2 (Powerful movement concepts)

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 09:24 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

I've been very impressed so far with the level of knowledge I've seen so far on reddit-feels good to be in good company. The Youtube fitness community I feel very differently about and so I started working pretty seriously on making valuable, evidence based content, sort of for the general population but also for those with an interest in fitness and movement (I'm a movement teacher).

Anyway, I'm working on an intro to movement series, and just published the 'part 2' video where I go into the said principle, growth mindset, volume, intensity, the force-velocity relationship, and more. If those sound like gibberish or you haven't heard of them before I highly suggest you watch the video- they the most important & powerful training concepts out there and understanding them will really help you guys in designing better training to make more progress towards your goals.

Link here for part 2: https://youtu.be/H4NICTlXtgU
Part 1: Muscular anatomy, Movement terminology, the law for balance + Talent & genetics: https://youtu.be/hiflZvH8OKo

Cheers and Have a nice weekend! Feel free to post any questions in the comments here or on YouTube and I'll get to them as soon as I can :).

Why the Abductor machine isn't a glute exercise

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 02:31 AM PDT

I see a lot of people in the gym doing this and it's not a glute exercise like people think so I thought I'd share this video explaining it so you can achieve that booty growth faster
