- Hi. I want to lose weight and look skinnier. Im not dissatisfied with my body, but I want to look a little bit skinnier. I have a little belly fat. How do I lose fat without exercising. I don't mind running and doing cardio, but I absolutely hate ab excercises. Im 165cm tall (5.5), and weigh 58 Kg.
Does anyone drink solely water? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 09:50 AM PDT I had a random thought whilst driving today. I wonder how my life would change if I drank solely water for 21 days straight.... I don't mind water but rarely ever drink water alone. I've never actually been one to drink much of anything during the day anyway but my drinking diet contains more Pepsi Max and occasionally a single bottle of alcohol than it should (not excessive, just more than it should). I usually manage 1L of sugar free squash as I work though. But they say that to make anything a habit you need to keep it up for 21 days straight. If I could manage it as an experiment more than anything, I wonder if I'd then choose to stick closely to it. I imagine it would help my alertness, maybe lose some weight etc, I'm half tempted to try. Just wondered what other people's experiences are? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Jun 2021 06:07 PM PDT Hello everyone. I'm 5'2 and my doctor says I am a healthy weight and should aim to not go any lower. My fat tends to go to my stomach and face and I don't feel to good about my body because I'm not fit. I was told to try recomp and I'm confused about how to start tbh. I'm also wondering if I will have to eat more, which I'm worried about because I get my food through small spread out meals throughout the day rather than big ones because of appetite issues. Thank you for any pointers and tips. [link] [comments] |
Elevated Hip Thrusts Suction Back? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 05:28 PM PDT Hey all, I'm 27 years old, 5ft tall and a UK size 14. I've joined a weights beginner class in my local gym. Each week they show us different exercises with different machines/weights. I'm bigger than the other girls in the class and this week hip thrusts and elevated hip thrusts were a part of our workout. I noticed while doing the elevated hip thrusts when I lowered myself back down, my back felt like it was suctioning itself to the workout mat/floor and made an almost fart sounding noise when I go to do another rep. (I swear I wasn't actually just farting) I raised this with my instructor but it became somewhat of a joke because no one else had this issue. I've chalked it down to just being overweight or bigger than the others but if anyone has any other reasoning I'd love to know. Thanks, Jenny [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:38 PM PDT I've already used a TDEE calculator and found what my daily calorie count and deficit should be, but I've found myself accidentally eating less than my deficit. I'm getting all my nutrients for vitamins and things of that nature, so malnutrition isn't necessarily the concern, but I don't want to accidentally put my body in starvation mode. Am I risking that? Also, I've heard about something like using one day to eat a calorie maintenance to keep your body from thinking it's starving, would that be advised? [link] [comments] |

Simple beginner push pull legs needed. Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:09 PM PDT I'm 16, and want to start working out. Right not I'm what many people would call "skinnyfat". I've looked at the best workout routines for beginners, or just people who want to keep it simple, and many people recommend push pull legs. I just need a home-equipment (dumbells, pull up bar, curling bar) push pull legs routine. Like a week long spreadsheet would be nice. Thanks [link] [comments] |
I'm 121lbs but have 17-20% body fat Posted: 22 Jun 2021 02:53 PM PDT How do I lose the body fat? But not lose my weight? Because I think its low already but idk. Also what strength training program should I do? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:31 AM PDT Hello, I've been doing fitness for 2 months, and I cannot see any clue of development, what am I doing wrong? Currently, I do 60 KG bench(started with 30), 80 KG squat(started with 60), and 160 for calfs(started with 100). Is it because I see myself everyday, or is it because of my workout routine, can anyone help me? [link] [comments] |
Squats make me dizzy and tired(more than should be normal I think) Posted: 22 Jun 2021 01:44 PM PDT I do a push/pull and legs routine 6/7 days of the week. My pull day consist out of pull-ups, deadlift, barbell row, squat, calve raises, leg extention, some quad exercises that I don't know the name of, bicep curls.(in that order) I do squats in the middle because doing it at the start would tire my legs out too much for the deadlift and other exercises. But for some reason I get really dizzy and tired without doing crazy much weight. 120kg at most while I weigh 75. I do 4 sets of 10 excluding warming up. I allready googled it, now drinking more water, focusing on breathing in/out after every rep. I don't have this dizzy feeling during any other exercise. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong/what could solve this problem? [link] [comments] |
