    I wanted to drop this here for anyone who is curious. I found some light reading that I thought was interesting today about the effects of stretching before working out. there is a TLDR as well

    TLDR;

    Recent studies caution people away from stretching before workouts, suggesting it actually impedes your body's performance. According to this research, runners run more slowly, jumpers jump less high, and weight lifters lift more weakly by stretching, without significantly ensuring against injury during their exercise.

    Is a calorie deficit safe at my age

    Im male 14, 5'3 and 148 lbs is it safe to go on a calorie deficit bc i started calisthenics for a year and eating more and now im starting to look pregnant, also i was always a little big but this is too much
