Need some diet advice - restarting workout after 4 years Posted: 02 Dec 2020 10:52 PM PST First I'm a realtor so other then gym or outside walks I do with friends I burn very little calories. 5'8 196 Lb with a good amount of body fat (haven't measured or anything for %) Since October 15th I've gone from 214 Lb to 196 lb through intermittent fasting and working out 6 days a week at the gym. The problem is I want to drop to at least under 180lb, but I want to make sure I'm gaining muscle while working out. I can tell I'm getting way stronger, but should I be eating more and then doing a super hard cut later? Does anyone have a recommendation on the food intake? Currently I'm at probs 1400-1600 calories a day and it's usually about 150g protein up to 200s depending on my meals. I've been at the same weight for about two weeks now and I want to know if I should add in cardio everyday or continue to push through? I've seen drastic changes to my physical appearance, but I want to keep cutting while at least maintaining the strength I have. Just looking for suggestions and I can answer any questions. Sorry ahead of time for the unorganized post. Newer to this [link] [comments] |
