Welcome to the /r/Fitness Daily Simple Questions Thread - Our daily thread to ask about all things fitness. Post your questions here related to your diet and nutrition or your training routine and exercises. Anyone can post a question and the community as a whole is invited and encouraged to provide an answer.

As always, be sure to read the wiki first. Like, all of it.

Also, there's a handy-dandy search bar to your right, and if you didn't know, you can also use Google to search fittit by using the limiter "site:reddit.com/r/fitness" after your search topic.

Other good resources to search are Exrx.net for exercise-related topics and Examine.com for nutrition and supplement science.

Be aware that the more relevant information you add, the more relevant the answers you receive will be. And if you are posting about your routine, please make sure you follow the guidelines.

(Please note: This is not a place for general small talk or chit-chat. Also, the community decided long ago that we keep jokes, trolling, and memes outside of the Daily Q&A threads. Please use the downvote / report button when necessary.)

Thoughts/Advice on using a Rebounder/Mini Trampoline for at home Cardio

    Posted: 02 Dec 2020 01:11 PM PST

Since March of this year I've been working out at home thanks to Covid, like many. Initially, I was doing a lot of strength training (my preference), but I need to be doing more cardio as that what is more challenging for me. I've been doing lots of YouTube videos that require a lot of jumping and I'm not a runner and I hate spinning. The issue that I've found is that I often cannot workout due to my downstairs neighbor being home and don't want to be jumping nonstop for an hour. Does anyone regularly use their Rebounder/Mini Tramp and have any input. Specifically my questions are:

Do you find it to be an effective cardio workout?

Do you have a specific rebounder that you like, or what price point should I be looking at?

Is the rebounder noisy, or noisy enough for my downstairs neighbor to hear?

Do you subscribe to any classes (ie. LekFit), use YouTube videos, or just bounce around?

    Thanks!
