Posted: 31 Mar 2020 05:06 PM PDT One of my friends from elementary school has been posting fitness-update pics on FB since starting Jessica Bass James' dance workouts via her Dance2Fit program. My friend went from mom bod to an absolute BABE. I've admired her progress, but I never had a reason to try Dance2Fit with Jessica since I had a gym membership. Well fast forward to these awful quarantine days where I'm stuck at home with 0 social interaction. I thought what the hell--I'm home, I'm alone, I feel like s*** from a lack of exercise, I miss ANY form of social contact, so I might as well give the Dance2Fit workouts a try. Ladies and gents of reddit its an absolute GAME CHANGER. The videos are free on YouTube--though she does have a premium access site--and I can honestly say they've really helped with my feelings of loneliness because I can shake my booty and still get in a helluva good workout. The songs are super trendy: Bodack Yellow, Seniorita, etc., The last workouts I've done with her have burned 600 calories in ~1hr, and I weigh 128lbs. I consider 600 calories to be a burn while having fun. I just wanted to share this for all of the fitness folks who are struggling to get in a groove--I'm in NO WAY affiliated with her program--just thought it could be helpful. I would check it out! Posted: 31 Mar 2020 01:40 PM PDT hey there! I was thinking about how can I workout at home with the things I have apart from the weights and so. With that, one of the things that we are using more now is probably a chair or a sofa (works as well). Why not creating a leg workout using it. And here it is! Hope it helps you with exercise ideas! Posted: 31 Mar 2020 07:16 AM PDT Hi all! After a breakup and with the coronavirus and everything I have been getting more into training. I am 180 cm long and I weigh around 55 kg. Can training by your own weight distribute to a better body or do you have to go to a gym to get better results? I am mainly focusing on my arms and stomach right now. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:06 AM PDT I am 23 yo with 73° kyphosis in my thoracic spine which lead to forward head posture, tight hipflexors, twisted legs, fallen arches, and twisted lowerback. I havent had the luck of finding a competent doctor to tell me which programm would be most efficient to feel better soon. Any testimonies or shared resources would be very appreciated. Basic dumbbell workout, advice needed. Posted: 31 Mar 2020 09:19 AM PDT Hello, Due to the current predicament we are in, I have lots of time and not a lot to do. So, I am trying to be as productive as possible. I would like to start working out, which is difficult considering I cannot leave my house atm. However, I do have a pair of 20lb dumbbells and a 30 kg kettlebell. I could use some advice for a basic lifting workout, I have never lifted weights before. If some one could set out a basic routine, then that would be great. I am reasonably healthy, male, and would be grateful for some advice. Thanks. [link] [comments] |

Suitable gym mat for home workouts Posted: 31 Mar 2020 01:10 PM PDT hello, I want to buy a gym mat to start doing some abs workout at home yet I am confused about what mat should I buy. All i'm sure of is that i shouldn't get a yoga mat. I have to choose between a Stretching Floor Mat 55" x 20" x 6.5 mm (as per decathlon designed for regular fitness floor exercises for muscle toning and strength training (once a week) at home.) and I pilates Comfort Mat, Size Large 75" x 28" x 20 mm (as per decathlon designed for more comfortable Pilates workouts.) p.s: I am a total newbie just bear with me for a second. Thank you [link] [comments] |
