I am in a funk without gym/ without job. Looking to accomplish goals physically to compensate. I love to run and have some free weights, generally follow a ketoish diet, feeling best not eating as many carbs. Would like to Tone more especially abs/ butt/ arms. I've lost about thirty pounds in last year with cardio mostly. Looking for any suggestions nutrition/ fitness wise to help. Quick tips for fitness or nutrition or fav YouTube videos to follow for at home fitness. Anything to help.

My buddy is a personal trainer, nutrition coach and online coach. Obviously only one of those now.

He started lifestyle performance years ago and I've been following his work throughout the whole time. I've done his programs and he used to help me workout back in the day. He even hit me up after I broke my shoulder and helped me gain back most of the mobility.

I don't know if this goes against rules for promoting but for anyone trying to learn nutrition tips and tricks. As well as working out in everyday work, though that is limited right now, this is what's helped me alot. Even if you don't wanna do the online coaching program (which has a free 7 day trial) his newsletter is pretty consistent and helpful.

Hope this helps some other people. I'm sure it would help him out as well. Here's the link.

And even if you just wanna shoot him questions on fb or ig I'm sure he'll be happy to answer any questions.

Getting as strong as possible in a months-time.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 02:15 PM PDT

    Hi,

I am going to take a military draft test in like 30 days, where you are tested upon your strength and your cardio, in which I want to do well. Now I have good cardio, however my strength is lacking. The strength test is on your leg and back/shoulder. My current level would be considered beginner.

Basically, do you have any tips on how should I plan my work-out to get in peak strength. Should I work out my legs everyday, or alternate between legs and back/shoulder? Can you do push-ups everyday or is it damaging. Any advice on how to think is appreciated.
