Push-up alternatives for other muscle groups?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 12:38 AM PST

    Hello Reddit,

I'm a fairly young dude that has been doing push-ups for the past 2 months every other day and have seen insane progress both visually (much more so than I saw from going to gym and doing chest press for 2 years) and quantitatively (I now do 3x the amount of push ups I could do when I started).

I was wondering if you can suggest some other exercises for other muscle groups which I can do at home and that I can do with relative quickness/ease, and that would yield tangible results.

Out of equipment I only have a rubber band but I could buy something else if really needed (I'm conflicted about weights though since I had a dumbbell for 2 years which I used to train shoulders and no miracle happened, they're still my weakest spot)

I'm writing here since there's just too much info online and I'd rather have someone speak from experience and/or taking into account my "situation" that it's hard to do exercises that don't bring any visible results. Thanks!

Are my goals realistic or am I setting myself up for failure/disappointment ?

    Currently I'm 6 ft exactly, I weigh 13 Stone 10/ 193 pounds/87kg

My goals are as follows, I am currently eating 1800 calories a day(500 deficit from my TDEE), tracking every single calorie in my fitness pal (sauces, herbs, everything) and only drink water and one coffee a day.

I am running between 3 and 5km a day 4-6 days a week and doing a 6 day PPL split with dumbbells and body weight exercises (about an hour a session)

    By the 1st of March 2021 I want to be 11 Stone 8/ 162 pounds/73kg

Is this a realistic goal? I'm sticking to this diet and exercise routine until gyms open again, thank you for reading
